Alyssa | Damien
Outside of Alyssa, Damien had never known anyone from Wonderland. However, it made sense, given the nature of the place she drew her power from, that such a show of force would cost Alyssa some of her sanity. After all, Wonderland wasn't known for being 'normal' or 'sane.' It was chaotic and, from what Damien read, it's residents could be considered crazy. The fact that she'd sacrificed some of her precious sanity to save him from Kol touched Damien. It proved without a silver of a doubt that Alyssa cared for him. It proved her loyalty and Damien considered that one of the most important aspects of any relationship.
"You shouldn't have. It's probably the most important thing you said," Damien replied honestly. "It proves your loyalty. It proves you like me for more than just my pretty face." And more, but Damien wasn't about to dive too far into anything regarding feelings just yet. Besides, actions always spoke louder than words.
Damien noted the way in which the glitter on her skin brightened; it was a fascinating reaction. "You don't know that. You've never had me as an opponent." The only one that could top him in stubbornness was Bran. Bran was also the only one that Damien would give into as well. His brother had earned that from him a long time ago.
Damien scented the air, blue eyes flashing bright, as the smell of her arousal perfumed the air around them. The vampire barely resisted the urge to grab her and press her against the table, hands pushing up her dress, as his lips found hers. "Grumpy is reserved for fairy girls that tease me in short dresses and then expect me to be on best behavior," Damien countered smoothly. "A lack of nicotine is more of an annoyance. I'm not addicted to it. It's just a habit."
Her admittance was far more personal than Damien expected, but the vampire appreciated the truth. Rebekah and Kol were the only ones that could understand her darker impulses, but they couldn't feed her more lustful ambitions. She needed someone like Damien for that. Which was what Damien suspected since the beginning.
"Meeting you has made it worth it," Damien replied softly, his voice raspy and low. Alyssa was one of the few things here Damien liked. Coming here had been a shock and he wasn't entirely sure where he would be if he hadn't spoken to Alyssa that day. He was sure there would be far more chain smoking going on.
The fairy girl turned in his arms, forcing Damien to to briefly remove his hand from beneath her dress and settle it back on her hip. Those blue eyes briefly flashed in annoyance, but his other arm remained around her waist, holding her tight against his body. Their faces were only inches apart and Damien could feel her breath on his cheek as she spoke.
"You pick a hell of a moment to redefine our little arrangement," Damien replied, darkly. The hand on her hip shifted to clasp one of her hands and press a kiss to the knuckles.
"I assume you're speaking in terms of who else you can see. Who else can touch you..." Damien trailed off, pressing his mouth to her wrist, savoring the feel of her pulse against his lips, and fangs brushing the skin. "Or taste you."
