Rhys | Madison
"I'm going to hold you to that," Madison replied, poking him playfully in the chest. If there was a war, Madison wasn't sure she'd want to go anyway, but if there wasn't? The blond was all for venturing through the portal and seeing what his world was like.
Heat rushed Madison's cheeks as Rhys leaned in and brushed a spot of sugar from the corner of her mouth. A playful smile quickly covered up any of her embarrassment. "Thanks," she replied after she finished chewing. "That totally didn't go with my makeup." And Madison was relieved that it at least tasted somewhat like a donut should taste.
While Madison hadn't been in a steady relationship for some time, she wasn't opposed to the idea. Mostly because she trusted Rhys. In the time she'd known him, he'd never hurt her. He'd been nothing, but kind to her. Loving. Open to her being a witch and possibly most important, he was capable of handling her.
Reaching out, Madison took his hand in his and squeezed it gently. "Rhys. I'm interested. I haven't been in a serious relationship in forever and normally, I try to avoid them, but you're different." Madison raised his hand to her lips and pressed a tender kiss to the knuckles.
"You're kind to me. You haven't hurt me. You respect me and you accept me. Not taking this step with you would be cheating myself and you out of something that could be pretty amazing," Madison said, placing the palm of his hand on her cheek.
