Re: Rhys | Madison
"Well, if a portal ever opens up here, you can show me the less wild parts," Madison offered. Of course, Madison was up for seeing all aspects of his home. The witch could handle herself, even in a potentially frozen tundra.
The blond watched as he took a napkin and selected a donut for himself. Madison hoped it didn't taste like ash. She'd feel terrible for suggestion he'd try one. To her relief, he said it tasted like sugar and Madison was grateful to whatever Powers might exist that it wasn't disgusting to him.
"I'm glad it didn't taste like ash at least," Madison offered, giving him a small smile. "I can have some of it too so you don't feel pressured to eat the entire thing." Because eating something that tasted like pure sugar could be too much eventually.
The blond reached to break off a small piece of the donut for herself and froze at his words. She definitely hadn't expected that. Madison couldn't even remember the last steady relationship she had, but she was pretty sure it was back in high school. Was that something she wanted again? Honestly, Madison hadn't been out with anyone else since meeting Rhys. She found she just didn't want to. He made her happy and she was comfortable with him.
"So, you're saying you want us to be exclusive?" Madison made her fingers work and broke off that piece of donut for herself. She popped it in her mouth and chewed as she waited for him to respond. Unlike Rhys, Madison could taste it for more than just sugar, but that was certainly the dominating force in her mouth at the moment.
