Nate had enjoyed his time out of the house that morning, so he had made the decision to go out once again in the evening. Due to working so hard around the house he had eaten a big lunch, so he decided to go back to Madison Valley Coffee and Tea Co. for a nice cup of hot tea and a snack style dinner to cap off his evening. Once again he dressed in warm and comfortable attire before making his way out onto the street. He did have his own sense of style and that was still prevalent in his current outfit, but he also had a firm belief in dressing for function first and style second. There was a nice bite in the air as he moved along the sidewalk, but he was actually enjoying the cooler temperatures. They had always fit him better and he didn't see that changing anytime soon. To keep the promise that he had made to himself be more social he had invited someone to enjoy him on this outing and he had been pleasantly surprised when she had said yes. He had thought it would be nice to once again have someone to talk to while enjoying his chosen meal for the evening. He had wanted to make sure that the two of them got a table and that she didn't have to wait on him, so he had left his apartment a little on the early side. Once he walked through the door of his intended destination he knew that had been the right choice, because tables were limited. He chose the best one available and took the seat facing the door, so that he would see her arrive. Deciding against ordering anything before she arrived he had pulled the book he had been reading out of his coat pocket and opened to the page marked by his bookmark. He focused on the book for a moment, clearly enjoying it because he lost track of time for a moment and didn't notice her walking through the door. |
