Jaune wanted to make sure that his house was fully stocked, so he had been out shopping for most of the day. He knew that he wanted to go out for dinner, so he had taken most of his purchases home but he also had one more stop that he wanted to make. He had passed an Herb store on one of his tours of the town and he wanted to stop by there and stock up on some tea and herbs. Jaune really did enjoy his tea and he had found that drinking the tea instead of the more unhealthy drink options helped him with his training. He hadn't meant to stay in the store that long, but once inside he wound up getting lost in choosing which options to go with. Over an hour later he made his way back out onto the street with one bag in each hand. Jaune decided to head on to the pizzeria and eat instead of taking his bags home first. The bags weren't that heavy and he didn't want to have to make yet another trip out once he was home. Once he had been shown to his table he placed his bags on the floor at his feet and then he waited for the waitress to make her way to the table. He ordered himself a glass of water and an extra large veggie pizza, figuring that whatever he didn't eat he could take home and have for leftovers. It just seemed like a better deal in the long run and he was fairly hungry, so he was likely to eat more than he usually would have. With his decision made he watched as the waitress made her way from the table to put his order in at the kitchen, and he pulled out his phone and began flipping through network to pass the time. Of course, his drink made it to the table first, but it wasn't much longer before his food followed suit. He was about to dig into his first slice when he happened to look towards the door and notice a familiar figure making her way inside. He was torn on whether or not he could say anything, because back home they had been on opposite sides of war. He knew that some of the others had told him that the war didn't matter as much here, but there was another part of him that wasn't sure if he could even trust her enough to simply talk to her. |
