Who: Paige and Open What: Paige notices the reindeers in the park When: December 5th Where: Park Rating: low
It seemed like Madison was going to make December a snowy one. It hadn't snowed so bad yet that paths and the like were unwalkable, but it still often snowed. This morning the snowflakes were big and fluffy. The sort of snow that would cover the ground and make great snowballs and snowmen. Paige could appreciate the way the world looked with snow on it like this. She always thought snow falling like this was peaceful. When it was windy and the snow was like a blizzard, things were different, but this? It could feel like a whole other world... which was kind of silly to think of it like that in Madison Valley.
She was on her way to work early this morning and like it usually did, her path took her toward the park. 'Santa's Workshop' had been there for a few days now and it was kind of amusing to watch people attempt to get in one way or another. Whatever magic was sealing thee place was powerful. Today, however, there was something new in the park and it made Paige pause.
Were those... reindeer?
Paige had seen a lot of things in her life, but never a reindeer in real life. They were somehow bigger than she thought they were, but they were also incredibly beautiful. Maybe it also had something to do with the snow falling, but Paige suddenly felt like she'd stepped into a magical scene - another very flowery thought she wasn't quite used to having.
As she stood there staring, she realized there were a group of them. For some reason she counted and came up with thirteen. Her eyes moved to the workshop in the distance briefly, then back to the reindeer. One of the reindeer lifted its head and seemed to noticed her which caused Paige to still. Then the reindeer slowly started to meander toward her.
