George had been trying to branch out, so he thought the next logical step would be to get to know Weiss a little better. After all she was currently engaged to his brother and he really hadn't spent all that much time with her. It had been odd for him to show him here and find that not only was his brother alive, but he also had a thriving life. Of course, he was very happy for Fred, but it had been a lot to take in. And honestly it had taken him entirely too long to get to know Weiss. Clearly Fred cared a lot about her, and anyone that Fred loved that much was someone that was going to be in George's life as well. Because honestly now that he had Fred back there was zero chance that he was going to distance himself from his brother for any reason. So, in order to spend some time with Weiss he had made arrangements for them to do something that he thought that they both might like. He was taking her out for Tea and pastries that evening and of course it was going to be his treat. It was only right after he had waited so long to spend any real time with her. He could only imagine what she must think of him or how he felt about her and he only had himself to blame for that. So, he certainly had to make up some ground and he felt like this was the best way to start. Hopefully she would agree and she would enjoy the evening out with him. After all he did want to see his brother happy and the last thing he wanted was to be the one that messed that up for him. They had agreed to meet there, so George was currently sitting at one of the tables near the back of the establishment. This would give them a little more privacy once she arrived and it also allowed him to see all those entering the building. He wanted to know right when she would arrive, so that he could stand to pull out her seat. Not having money didn't mean that he didn't have manners. His mother had raised him right and even though he did like to joke, even he knew when it was time to get serious. Once he saw her make her way through the door, he stood from his seat and made his way over to the other chair, pulling it out for her. He waited patiently for her to make her way over to the table. |
