Nam-Ra was just glad she didn’t end up with Su-Hyeok as a surprise ghost, learning that he was gone from seeing him that way. That one would’ve hurt her more and been harder to handle considering he was the first guy who she liked. Also her first kiss, and last she knew he was alive. To find him as a ghost would’ve been harder than the two she ended up with. It was a struggle more so with Gwi-Nam than the other one, but she’d handle it until the dome sent them away. Then she’d take the longest shower ever, fearing to do it right now with the sadistic one around.
Watching him with the sheepish look caused her to smile and she thought he looked really cute. Probably a great thing ghosts couldn’t read her mind because she didn’t need their comments anymore than she was already dealing with them. The two made their thoughts on Leo very clear as if she really actually cared or needed their thoughts. “Yes, I wanted to dress up and see what Halloween is like for Americans, it’s not really celebrated back home,” she told her tablet. That was the whole reason she was going, considering she wasn’t even sure if she could eat candy, but she wanted to see what the whole thing was like, trying the holiday out.
Nam-Ra chuckled nervously at his question. Even though she was sure Leo was only asking as friends, she never had a guy ask her that question as a friend or otherwise. Nam-ra could hear her mother’s voice in her head saying no, but the woman wasn’t here and the ghosts got no say. “I’d love to. I’d feel less out of place having someone with me and I wouldn’t say no to the company,” she told him with a smile, hoping it didn’t make him feel uncomfortable or anything. “I can wait here, if you want to go clean up and put things away?” Nam-Ra offered, not feeling there was a need to rush and she didn’t mind waiting for him.
