Oliver felt like he had waited more than long enough now; he really wanted to make the rounds and check on his friends that were here. Even though he and Sara weren't together anymore she would always be one of his best friends and he wanted to make sure that she was holding up okay. And more than that he wanted to be sure that she was safe; of course he knew that this place wasn't like Starling City, but that didn't keep him from worrying just a little bit about his friends and family. It had just became a huge part of his nature, and he couldn't seem to kick the habit. Sometimes he honestly felt like he didn't want to. He felt like this new empathy he had gained from being on the island had made him a better man, and he didn't want to loose that. So, with all of that in mind he was on his way over to Sara's house. He had stopped at the store and picked up a few things for her; nothing big, but he couldn't help spoiling his friends. It was just the way he worked. Though he must have looked strange to the people he was passing, carrying this large gift basket. Fortunately he wasn't the type to care about what other people thought of him....at least not anymore. When he was younger he had been all about fitting in and making sure everyone knew just how cool he was, but now all he cared about was making sure those he loved was safe and happy. Finally he managed to make it to Sara's door and he knocked lightly, making sure to hold the large basket steady in his other hand. Hopefully she would come to the door quickly, because he didn't want anymore people staring at him. He still wasn't concerned about their opinions, but he also didn't want someone trying to stop him or something like that. He knew he wasn't doing anything wrong, but the other people certainly didn't know that. And the last thing he wanted was some stupid fight over nothing. |
