Who: Paige and Open What: Paige is at the fair When: Monday afternoon Where: The Fair Rating: low
School was out, not that it actually affected her personally, but it meant as she waited in line for some cotton candy, the fair began to fill up more with children. Paige didn't hate kids and she thought that a fair without kids was kind of creepy. Maybe if she was younger and really into rides she'd enjoy a kid-free fair experience, but children had an excitement about places like this most adults didn't seem able to muster.
Grabbing her pink cotton candy, she started to roam slowly to take it all in. She ended up in the area where farm animals were on display. She had always thought horses looked like incredibly kind souls. She wasn't quite paying attention enough and a horse walked up and snagged her stick of cotton candy. "Hey!" But it was too late. The horse was now enjoying a fluffier and pinker version of a sugar cube.
