Leonard and Sara (Any day)
Saying it was a calculated risk. Sara knew it might be too soon considering their relationship was only two months old, but she couldn't pass up what felt like the perfect moment. She also knew that if the dome ripped him away from her again, she would regret not saying it. After the words were out, she held her breath until he kissed her again and said it back. She would have been okay with him not saying it as long as he didn't panic at her saying it.
When he congratulated her on stealing his heart, she broke into a huge grin. "Does that make me the superior thief in this relationship?" It was a joke that Sara felt was necessary to lighten the suddenly intense moment. People like them didn't fall in love. And if they did, it seldom ended well. They were both aware this might not and she was grateful that he was all-in like she was.
