Loki and Nora
Nora allowed Loki to pull her closely to him. She pressed herself against him, taking in the solidity of her friend. Her head rested against his chest, remaining quiet as she took in the sound of his breathing and his heart beating. Trying to steady herself with the rhythm.
"I'm sorry, Loki," she whispered, as she reached up to wipe a tear from her cheek. "So sorry."
She never wanted to hurt Loki and there she had gone and tried to hurt Loki. She knew he was stronger than she was, though, and was somewhat comforted in the fact that he could have handled anything she threw at him. That didn't change the fact that she had tried and therefore felt terribly guilty.
It took her a moment, but she managed to compose herself. She was grateful that Loki allowed her to cling to him for as long as she needed. "Can we explore a bit more?" she asked. "I won't eat or drink anything, I promise."
