Donna had been in one of the shops ordering some fancy fabrics as she planned to get her seamstress to make a new dress. If Alec was going to think of marrying Cassandra then she had to be ready now didn't she? So she didn't hear any of the words being said which was a good thing too else she might be a little less keen on stopping the fight. While she preferred peace, she also was a woman who would have felt like her honour was at stake.
When she left the shop, the commotion was entirely too obvious. It was no surprise the man who Dean decided to fight was losing, and poorly - her husband was a strong and powerful man, after all. She was surprised to see Dean advance again.
She hurried over to the men, aware that eyes were on them all. "Dean!" She didn't sound like she was reprimanding - she wouldn't dare - but instead she sounded worried. Once she closed the distance, she reached out gently to touch him on his arm. "I think you've proven your point, my love. He's in a pitiful state and I would not want to see you taken away from me for killing a man such as this one." Which was her kinder way of saying 'he isn't worth it'
