Who: Everyone What: Final dinner & dance Where: Ballroom When: 6pm to midnight Saturday 7/23 Warnings: Let us know if we need to update Status: party post!
On the final night of the cruise, the ship docked in the port at Vancouver again and passengers were permitted to disembark and explore the city. All amenities on board the ship were still available as well and at 6pm, there was a huge buffet dinner in the ballroom. Food would be available until 8pm, when dancing would begin. This party was more casual than the ice ball and guests could wear whatever they wanted.
The buffet was laden with a variety of foods, including a baked potato bar, a make your own pasta bar, carving stations with turkey and roast beef, a salad bar, and an extensive array of desserts. When the music began, it was a mix of popular hits from America in the 1970s-today. At 10pm, both an ice cream bar and a selection of fried appetizers were set up for anyone who wanted a late night snack.
When the party ended at midnight, guests could return to their cabins and turn in or spend the last few hours available on the ship. Either way, on Sunday morning, they would wake up in their own beds in Madison Valley and they would find all of the items they'd purchased on the cruise had come with them.
