Re: Rowan & Liam
Rowan laughed, looking around as if she was looking for some wood to knock on. “No idea, but if things go to hell it wasn’t me. Don’t go being a snitch,” she teased because Rowan knew Liam wouldn’t throw her under the bus like that. Then again her guilt would probably have her throw herself under the bus even when she had nothing to do with it. “I can work with that goal. We both need to make sure we have fun tonight and not be having to save the day, which that last part is more on you. My friends from back home are not here so I don’t need to protect them.”
The smile on her lips after he kissed her back made Rowan super glad her best friend wasn’t lurking around. Oh god she would have to kill her friend if the girl made a comment, knowing she most likely would later when Rowan told her about this. For now, she was looking forward to enjoying her time with Liam. “I know you’re not like most guys and one of the reasons I like you. I’ll have to keep that in mind though for if I want to get you to do anything.” She gave him an evil smile as if she was really going to come up with something scary but that wasn’t her.
Listening to the plan, she nodded. “I can work with that. I feel like I should be clapping my hand and saying break. I think that’s what they do in the football huddle? Or did I make that up?” Rowan getting lost in her question for a moment before bringing herself back. “Then first is dancing,” she reached for his hand before moving into the ballroom, looking around to see who she knew that was here already.
