Andy & Lois
When it came to Lois’ job and the life she led, the words "adventurous" and "daring" could very well be used to describe the way she did things. Not so much when it came to food. Lois didn’t mind trying some new things; however, it really depended on what she was trying. Salmon seemed like the safest bet. Maybe also the crab legs, but she really wasn’t in the mood to do all that work. Leaving those alone, she had decided to take the safe route rather than try some of the more unique dishes. Nothing she saw had her feeling like she was missing out on anything.
Walking by the man eyeing his plate, he made her feel so much better about her choice of not trying anything new. She sat down at the table right next to him, and she spoke up with an amused smile on her face. "Should I start a betting pool on you and the plate? But thanks for making me feel so much better about my choice of going boring and basic."
Hey, there was nothing wrong with going boring and basic, especially when it came to food. The last thing she wanted was to be sick from something she ate, ruining the next few days of the cruise.
