Who: Clint and Finstock What: Some teenagers are being dumb with fireworks (Match Up) When: Sunday Evening (July 3) Where: The Park Rating: low
Finstock was well aware that this was he last month of his freedom before he had to go back to teaching. He should probably start thinking about lesson plans or something, but he wasn't getting paid right now, so his brain was on strike. Besides, he could figure it out on the weekend before school like any other self-respecting teacher.
He was going for a stroll in the park on the way to get some dinner when he heard some fireworks go off. Normally he'd try to ignore since he didn't hate fireworks, but he heard some young voices shouting along with them. Part of him said to ignore and keep walking, but he caught a glimpse of the kids and he swore. "Why do they always make me have to teacher." Ugh.
He walked towards the set of teenage boys who were using roman candles like they were paintball guns at each other. Finstock tried shouting, but he was too far away, so he did what any coach would do - he pulled out his whistle that yes, he kept on him at all times, and blew it. This got their attention and looked over and Finstock yelled. "Hey! This isn't Vietnam! Shoot up or don't shoot at all, you idiots!"
