Working at the gym wasn't nearly as satisfying as exploring the galaxy, but Sam found that she still enjoyed it since it allowed her a chance to have something resembling a normal life which was something she never expected to have. She'd come close with Pete, or at least thought she had, though realistically she knew that relationship was never going to work and not only because she was in love with Jack. Being here with him, adopting Six, and living a simple life was kind of nice.

She finished her class and headed to the staff lounge to grab a bottle of water. "Hey, Lisa," she said when she realized one of her coworkers was already in there. "How's it going? You feeling okay?"

Lisa had finished off her morning classes and immediately following her last, ended up in the bathroom, puking up her breakfast and snack. It wasn't a great way to finish off the first half of the day, but morning sickness was part of being pregnant. And for the little one growing inside her? She could certainly put up with it.

For lunch, Lisa had stuck with a light meal of half a sandwich and a small salad. Afterwards, she sipped the tea that Miriam had brewed for her, hoping it would quell the queasy feeling until the end of her workday.

At the sound of footsteps, the yoga instructor looked up from her phone and offered a smile at her fried. Sam really seemed happy and content here which pleased Lisa to no end. She deserved it and Six was a wonderful addition to her and Jack's relationship.

"Hey, Sam," Lisa returned. "Well, I managed to make it through my morning classes, but then morning sickness hit. So, I suppose, no so great. But hopefully this tea my friend gave me will help. How about you?"

For all of the vast experiences Sam had in her life, being around pregnant women wasn't one of them, though she was aware of the types of things they went through and gave Lisa an empathetic smile. "If you ever need to me to cover your classes, let me know," she said. "Even if it's last minute. It's rare that I can't be available." Six was independent enough that she and Jack could leave her alone during the day if need be.

"I hope the tea helps though," she said, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and sitting at the table with her friend.

At the offer, Lisa gave Sam a grateful smile. She might be taking her friend up on that offer sooner than she planned on doing. So far, while not rough, the morning sickness aspect of her pregnancy was hitting Lisa pretty hard. While she wanted to work as long as she could, she already realized that might be a far shorter timeline than she expected.

"I appreciate it, Sam. I might take you up on that sooner than you think." Lisa's stomach had settled a little, but she could still feel the bit of nauseousness gnawing at her gut. Lisa decided to focus on something else instead of her pregnancy and how bad she felt.

"So, how are you, Jack and Six doing?" She asked as her friend claimed an empty chair at her table.

"Anytime," Sam reiterated. She may not have ever gone through a pregnancy, but that didn't mean she could empathize with Lisa. She took a long drink of water before answering her question. "Things are going really well. The adoption paperwork is close to being finalized. Six is doing much better than she was when she first arrived, though her nutrition isn't quite where I'd like it to be."

She kind of wished Janet was around because her friend might be able to get Six to understand the importance of vegetables. Plus she missed her, especially since spending a week as an alternate version of herself who still had her best friend. "How are you and Dean? Ready for this little one? When are you due?" she asked. She didn't know Lisa's fiance well so she had no idea how he might be feeling about all of this.

At the mention of all the positive in Sam's life, Lisa smiled. She knew from babysitting Six that the girl had odd eating habits and was a picky eater. Much like Sam, she wished there was a way to help Six see the benefit of all kinds of foods, not just some.

"I'm glad to hear all of that and yeah, I agree about Six and her nutrition too. Have you tried maybe having her talk to a nutritionist? Someone that might be able to logically explain the benefit of the foods she doesn't like?" Lisa reached for her tea and took a sip. Oh, hopefully her stomach would start to settle soon.

"Me and Dean are doing well. I think we're all still dealing with the whole Lucifer thing that happened a few months ago." Lisa didn't like to think about it or what it had done to DJ and Sam's relationship. "And we are slowly getting there. Donna's throwing me a baby shower."

"I'm due at the end of December. Probably New Year's Eve."

Sam was momentarily confused, trying to figure out what 'Lucifer' thing she was referring to. Then she remembered seeing some things on the network after her stint as her alternate self. "Ah, I wasn't myself when that happened or I would have been there to help you," she said, her tone slightly wistful thinking about the life she and Jack could have had.

"Oh, wow, that's a fun time of year," she said. "Please don't hesitate to let me know how I can help. And tell Donna if she needs assistance to let me know." Sam had no idea who Donna was, but she liked Lisa.

At the words, Lisa quickly shook her head. "No, no. I'm glad you didn't have to be involved. It was dangerous and the last thing I would have wanted was Lucifer doing something to you, Jack, or Six." She appreciated the sentiment, but she was glad Sam wasn't part of it.

Lisa's smile returned and she nodded. "It's a stressful time of year, but I'm looking forward to it. Dean and I had a little girl when the future kids showed up and both of us would really, really love to meet her again. I'll also let Donna know so she can reach out if she needs anything."

In some ways, Sam was jealous that Lisa might get to have one of her alternate universe children. Neither of hers would exist in this universe and it was difficult knowing that there was at least one more universe where she and Jack had a child. They were lucky to have Six here though and she was grateful for that.

"Well, you know that if you need anything, you can call me. You and Dean should come over for dinner sometime so you can meet Jack."

Obviously, the gender of the baby was still unknown, but Lisa was hoping they saw Charlie again. She knew Dean felt the same exact way too. But no matter what, they would both love the baby. She knew they would just be happy to have this chance.

"I know and I appreciate that. And we would love to come to dinner at your place. I'll talk to Dean and figure out when he's free so we can work something out."
