Miriam appreciated inquisitive questions that weren't rude. A lot actually. She smiled. "My body rejects it, like poison. I've been a vampire since before Christ existed, so it never bothered me until I arrived here the second time. How do the kids say it? I get serious FOMO." And no, Miriam would not be using slang again.
"I'm sure. Really." Miriam assumed the woman perfectly capable, but it didn't mean she couldn't have a helping hand. Ordinarily, Miriam wouldn't offer, but Caroline started to rub off on the brunette vampire.
"I'm Miriam. Nice to meet you, Barbara." She smiled, albeit a small smile.
