Re: Nancy and Ace
Nancy was slightly worried he might question it, knowing if anyone was going to pick up on her lying it’d probably be him. The people in this town didn’t know her well enough to where they could pick up on anything like that, but she was glad he either didn’t catch anything or he wasn’t questioning it. Either way she wasn’t going to complain because she really didn’t want to deal with the fallout of him finding out she lied. At least, not until she managed to fix the hex. Last time he had been mad at her, Nancy did not want or need that again.
“Considering how long people have been here? Yeah, there is so much information to look through, and that’s not even adding in all the different worlds. Once you add all the different people, it’s a whole other box of information that’s only more that can get added to the pile,” she told him as she slipped into the empty seat at the table. “For example, I did some research with Sherlock,” she nodded as she said it, knowing he’d give a bit of a reaction to that. “But we can talk more about it after the show, if you’re free?” Nancy could talk about some of what she discovered so she didn’t feel completely guilty about lying to him.
