Who: Eve Levine Feat Kristof Nast (Narrative) What: Eve visits Kristof and “talks his ear off” When: After Lunch, June 3 Where: His law firm Rating: low
“I’m sure it says something that I miss going on missions with Tsriel.” Eve leaned on Kristof’s desk with her arms over her chest. It was a normal enough scene except Kristof had his head in some papers for an important case that was happening and he wasn’t listening. That wasn’t fair - there was no way he could listen because Eve was a ghost and she was making no effort to make actual contact with her ex. “I’m just so used to having to do something and when I’m not, there was you and our exploring. We made a good team.” She looked up from the spot on the floor she had been studying and looked at Kris before rolling her eyes at herself and pushing off the desk. She started to slowly pace.
“I should get a hobby, right? The only question is what kind? Dark Magic used to be my hobby, which yes, I can go back to hear, but there’s not a lot of chances to get my hands on new spells now is there? Paige has a hard enough time doing it and she’s more motivated than me. Maybe I should finally learn how to skate so I can join you playing hockey.” She said it, paused, then let out a raspberry of a laugh. That was probably not going to happen. She watched Kris play - or rather watched Kris sit in the penalty box - but she had no desire to play the game herself.
She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. Enough about her. “As much as I hoped Savannah has reached out to you, I doubt she has. She probably hasn’t gotten used to having you around. She will though… but until then I’m worried. I’m doing my best not to stalk her. Just check ups, I swear.” Mostly. “Do you think she’s going to regret not being with Adam? Not that I know how Adam and Savannah’s relationship is like back home so maybe it doesn’t work out.” Who was she kidding? She wanted it to work out. She didn’t want Savannah constantly chasing happiness.
Kristof let out a sigh and Eve looked over at him. She frowned a little. She could tell he was stressed. Nothing she could do about it. Maybe she could text him for a drink tomorrow or something to help him with it. Would that be too obvious?
“I should go.” She probably shouldn’t have even come here. “You’ll do great, by the way. You always do.” Eve headed for the door.
