Lois figured it was still a possibility and most likely would happen at some point the same issue of poisoning. Though she was hoping with Laura not having as much it wouldn’t be for many, many years. “Do you mind if we at some point make an appointment for you at the clinic in town to get you checked out? I’ll come with you and make sure you’re safe.” Lois figured the girl might get on edge with some of the stuff the doctors might do. Which Lois figured by being with her, she could talk to the girl and get her to trust her on how she would never let the doctors do anything to hurt her.
“So being honest, how do you feel about having me as a guardian? You okay with being stuck with me?” She asked with a smile, knowing if Laura was okay with her, then she’d be making it her new goal of making sure Laura got to enjoy her time here. It made her super glad that her children got to enjoy a normal life, especially with how far away normal was for their family. But she was determined to make sure Laura got to enjoy all the things she missed out on while here in this town and in her care.
Lois nodded on Laura’s question about Clark. “Yes, he’d come for you. Did you think he wouldn’t? Or are you more wondering how he would come for you?” There was no doubt in her mind on how Clark would be there for Laura if she ever needed him.
