Lois knew she had a bad habit of attracting trouble and okay, sometimes seeking it out, but it came with the job and the life she lived. Even with reading what she had about Laura, Lois wasn’t about to fear the girl. No that would solve nothing and that wasn’t who Lois was. Fearing people only caused trouble and this girl didn’t deserve that. Though she was going to approach the situation carefully so the girl knew Lois meant no harm. Then again if any problems arose, Lois only had to say Clark’s name and knew he’d come help.
Still, Lois wasn’t about to do that and there was a reason why she never had a problem about people talking to her. “I’m sure they do,” she trailed off, her eyes scanning before pointing at the board. “Is that what you want? Anything else? The shakes here are good if you were wanting one?” Lois figured they’d order then get to know one another. Her eyes scanning the board as she waited for an answer on whether Laura wanted anything else, deciding on what she wanted for herself.
