Though he hadn't gone off the rails like Michael at the news about Sean and Alex's wedding, Eliot could admit that finding out second hand like that stung, even if he also knew that logically he had no reason to expect anything of Sean. This version of Sean didn't have the memories of their relationship in the other Madison Valley that Eliot had and, as time went on, he was getting better at separating the two.
So he was able to return Sean's smile when he approached. "Thanks," he said. "So did you." It was nice that they had a chance to use their powers for fun here and not simply for survival.
He took a swig from his flask, thinking that he should probably get himself some water instead of drinking booze. "How've you been?" he asked. "Married life treating you okay?"
