Re: Rowan & Claudia
Rowan had just finished pulling up her dark hair into a ponytail, knowing it was probably going to get hotter once the day was further along. Another reason why she voted on wearing comfy clothes that wouldn’t have her dying once the day turned hotter as it went on. The voice caused her eyes to rest on a woman, and a small hint of red came over her cheeks on the compliment. Even though she knew her work was good or thought it, Rowan wasn’t used to hearing it from other people. Showing other people her work was not something she really did, but she was trying to push forward and work on moving back out of her comfort level.
“Thank you, and you have nothing to apologize for,” Rowan replied with a small smile. Tensing up for a moment since Stinger had done a number on her and had her slightly mistrustful of people right now. Though she managed to push the tension aside and relax as much as she could when she was a nervous mess over showing off her work. “At least, it wasn’t anything rude or mean that came out,” she offered in a reassuring and joking tone, hoping that made her feel a bit better about the whole thing. On the question, she nodded. “Yeah, there are various photographs from my time around here that I never really showed off, and thank you for the compliment.” Rowan couldn’t remember if she said that or not, and she was feeling very nervous, especially with the compliments.
