Jinx and Ace
So, this was the ‘Titanic?’ Jinx looked around her, wide eyed at the strange environment. She’d never seen anything like this before in her entire life. It was clearly dated and older, less advanced than anything even in Madison Valley, but there was still something fascinating about it. However, Jinx could do without the dress she was currently wear or the strangely laced up boots. It all made her feel very old and restricted. It felt like being trapped.
Jinx’s first instinct was to go on the deck and breath in as much fresh air as possible. Her clothes and being below deck made it feel as if she was suffocating. Just as she was about to emerge into the sunlight, a man stepped into her path, and Jinx collided with him. Given her small statue and inexperience with heels, she fell backwards, butt smacking the wood stairs hard.
If there was an apology, the young woman didn’t hear it. Instead, she clamored to her feet and dug in the folds of her dress for Zapper. The stun gun would do the trick.
