Who: Gally and Lois Lane What: Random run-in When: Sunday afternoon Where: Starbucks Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/Match-up/On-going
As much as Gally had settled into life in Madison Valley, there was still the more than occasional brief moment where he looked at how far he'd come and just sort of boggled a little. Like now, when he was at Starbucks waiting for his drinks -- he was heading over to Kendal's and had grabbed something for her as well -- because it was something he'd had no experience with before Madison Valley. (Even if Starbucks had existed in his world, it definitely didn't any longer by the time he went into the Glade.)
And considering that he and Kendal had talked about building towards a future that included having their own place, having Alby? He had a fair bit to be amazed by.
It was busy so he'd stepped back a bit to get out of the way -- moreso because he knew people would push their way through to the counter and he wasn't in the mood to deal with that. For all that he could be something close to a respectful, responsible adult now? He still had a short fuse when it came to stupid people. But this was Starbucks and people needing their caffeine were... interesting.
He shifted to the side again to let somebody get by, only to end up in somebody else's way. "Sorry," he said with a sheepish smile.
