Fitz was one of those people that was almost constitutionally incapable of not multitasking, which was why he had his laptop open in front of him next to the plate of food he was slowly working his way through. Was he doing anything particularly important? No. Was it a part of his day anyway? Yes. (Alright, going over supply requests was important, but it wasn't at that exact moment.)
He wasn't completely absorbed in it all, though, he was distractible enough if somebody were to approach. He was better at socialization than he'd been years ago, had actually made friends -- or at least people to have conversations with -- and it was where he'd met Rosa.
Fitz had memories of the place, good ones, and it made him think of just how good the place could be to people. For as terrible as it could be, it'd also done great things.
He glanced up from the computer to take a sip of his drink and offered someone a slight smile and nod of greeting as they walked past.
