You're...quite underestimating the scale of the household. Running it is more...receiving visitors and managing the servants, keeping accounts and ordering supplies and such. It's more involved than cleaning. My father's not too important to do that, he's too busy. There's a difference. And see I said something nice and you managed to reduce it to nothing, it's you that underestimates her and that's why I don't talk about her.
There are people at home still who do that, like they think they're living in some grand romance story. Roland and Susan couldn't marry but I don't rightly understand it either.
There's a disturbing thought, if someone might be trying to alter things for the worse. We can't know it.
