Yeah, I did it. I'm probably overthinking it here since I didn't get to process anything at home; I was busy doing damage control.
Some people recover, some don't. There are things you can do that make it more or less likely. With Roland, probably the best thing is to stick with him and let him be himself, because there's always people who look like they're recovered but have nothing left on the inside. Our parents are like that: They seem perfectly normal until nobody's watching them. Like parents, like kids, I guess. If you stick around and stay close, you can at least call him out if he tries to fake it too much.
So people here keep saying.
They were probably different things before, yeah. It's not really like those examples, though. A cleric tells you how to live your life to make God happy, a shrink just kind of listens to you and tells you what your mind is doing. Points out things you might not notice. They're not supposed to judge you or tell you you're living your life wrong because you're having sex or whatever. And psych drugs...they can make you forget things, but most of the time, it's just to get you to a point where you can function enough to get through things. Like fixing a broken leg before teaching someone to walk again.
