I guess ending up here is better than a lot of the alternatives, if I have to be jerked around temporally. I think the disliking between me and Gilead would be mutual. In the way I was using it, it was a metaphor, but it's something places used to do. It's barbaric.
Yeah, I'm pretty much stuck being the boring, responsible one. In the field, though, that's Shaun's place. He's not being cruel, it's that you end up having to make difficult decisions, and you usually go for whatever gets the most people out safely. Ideally you'd save everyone, but sometimes you can't. He's better at dealing with that than I am.
I have, that's why I hate the people who had him make it. If there's a problem with me and Shaun, take it up with us. Well, him, since I'm dead. Leave our employees out of it.
