Who: Crowley & Open What: Just a demon participating in a dice game When: Sunday Afternoon Where: An Inn through Feudal Japan Portal Warnings: TBD Status: Open / Ongoing
When the boy from the blacksmith shop had mentioned the portal, Crowley had sent a text to Johanna saying he would see her either over there or when the portal closed, and then he had headed over. There was that familiar tang of magic, but he wasn't about to hunt it down, that way would lead to madness or worse in this type of world.
Instead, Crowley quickly set himself up at an inn with a long-running Chō-Han game and started having fun with the participants. This particular room looked out over one of the main roads, and they had the door open to let in fresh air and light during the day. Crowley himself was seated off to the side of the room, on a very comfortable rattan and straw cushion, with a bottle of sake and a tea set on a low table beside him. He was conversing with a woman who was probably old enough to have invented the game (and who definitely wasn't human), placing bets on those who were betting on the games.
They were both changing the dice at random, but neither were calling the other out.
