Rowan & Allison H. (post-show)
Rowan had taken a bit of time to warm up to Allison mainly, fearing the dome would send her back. After losing two guardians, she didn’t want to get attached, but she fully considered Allison a member of her family. It was always a concern on losing Allison; however, she was in a better place that if Allison was only sent home for a bit, she’d manage. It’d be a whole other story if the dome sent her back completely.
“I love that idea! And hey, there is never anything wrong with having some leftovers!” Well, okay, there was if it wasn’t that great reheated, but they wouldn’t know unless they tried. Rowan was even more excited now because the idea of getting a little bit of everything sounded amazing.
Hearing how Five seemed to like her a bit better than the rest of their family was a surprise to her. But then Allison had to bring up the kid causing Rowan to wrinkle her nose, shifting slightly. “That was so awkward! He’s a great guy and maybe if we were around the same age, I’d think he was cute. But the whole future kid thing was weird! I know he sure as hell thought so as well. Then again, I’m glad I had one with him rather than some stranger cause he was a huge help.” Rowan admitted, but she knew that kid was never going to come to be so while awkward, it was only a different timeline type of situation.
“But I would be an awesome sister-in-law slash …daughter I guess,” Rowan trailed off trying to figure out how that would work and how it ruined the joke because the whole thing was weird. Still, the joke had a little bit of standing room even if not that much.
Rowan had a feeling the whole thing with Claire was hard and felt bad about bringing it up. Moving to hug the older woman for a moment before focusing on the question she asked. “I had a lot, which was terrifying. I don’t even know why I had that many,” she admitted. “But one of them was with my crush so you know it was not all that bad,” she said before realizing how she hadn’t really told Allison about the crush she had on Liam, but it was a bit late now.
