Who says tequila doesn't solve all problems? Isobel had taken a day for herself. After waking up on Saturday and realizing Louise was no longer with them, she felt she needed time. Lots of it. From the network, she realized she was not the only one suffering from loosing the future children. Of course, not all of them had a child from home show up. A child she didn't even have yet with a man she wasn't with back home.
It was a lot and Isobel decided to take a day for herself, spending most of indulging in shopping therapy followed by a trip to the bar to drink at least two margaritas before tomorrow morning. Knowing Louise existed at home gave Isobel a lot to think about. It was reassurance she ended up with Kyle, but also a lot of pressure to make sure that happened...or Louise wouldn't exist. That was the sad part because she couldn't assure that if she ever returned from Madison Valley. Those memories wouldn't remain intact when she came home.
And Louise was half-alien. They all knew what being part human and part alien did to a person because of Maria. That wasn't good either. While the time spent with Louise was wonderful, there was just a lot of "what ifs" left in her wake. She Kyle was struggling with it too; at least they had each other and if anything, Louise's arrival made them realize they needed to find a bigger place and soon.
She took a sip from her margarita. She could only focus on what she could control and right now, that had nothing to do with the world she left behind.
