Who: Mia (Narrative) What: Mia is taken by an angel When: Sunday morning Where: Her house (training barn) Rating: low
Morgan leaving had been expected although they hadn’t known that Friday was the last day with them. Logan, however, had been a bigger blow and Mia knew Nick was hurting. He seemed to be handling it better that when Nyssa left - she had been a hot mess when she disappeared - but Mia wasn’t foolish enough to think that Nick was ‘okay’.
One of the most frustrating things about being in a relationship with a werewolf was knowing they felt things like family deeper and being unable to really know how that felt was something Mia hated with a passion. That she couldn’t Change and run with Nick, too, bothered her to no end. It didn’t help that she remembered what it had been like for a week and she mourned that. She thought thought that there had to be a part of Nick that still secretly mourned it too.
He went for a morning run and so she went to take her frustrations out in the training barn. First she did some basic conditioning, the salmon ladder, and some hand-to-hand. It was when she was practicing with the wooden dummy that she heard something and turned. She instantly tensed. Why the hell was there a statue of an angel in the barn all of a sudden?
She looked away to look for whoever brought it and when her eyes went back to the statue, it was gone. Instantly she went on alert. She moved slowly, scanning, before she reached her bow and arrows.
Mia heard a sound and turned in a fluid motion, drawing and releasing the arrow. It sailed directly at the statue that was now where she had been at the wooden dummy. What. The. Fuck.
She only took her eyes off of it for a moment to look for whoever the fuck was messing with her and when she looked back the angel was gone again. “What do you want?” She called out, moving slowly and carefully with her bow at the ready.
The sound of movement caught her ear again and she turned to shoot only to discover the statue was close to her now. No longer was its face in its hands. Its arms were raised like it was about to attack and its mouth was wide open suggesting fangs. Mia reacted on instinct which was to swing her bow at the statue and then went for a kick. The moment her foot connected, she disappeared.
And then so did the angel from the surveillance camera.
