Brooke was angry with the dome and sad to have lost not one, but two people who she had grown to count on in this dome. The house felt empty, bringing back that feeling she had always felt back home with how empty her home usually was. Then again it was always going to be empty with her father gone back home. Not wanting to stick around the empty house, she decided on going out since she did not need to be alone with her thoughts. So what if she had an 8am class? Fuck it! If she went, then she’d go hungover or whatever. No, tonight she was going to drink the night away and maybe go home with someone, avoiding the empty house for the night.
Leaving the house in a very short dress with matching heels and a purse, she hadn’t planned on hitting up Verdant, knowing she spent enough time. Though when she found her fake ID wasn’t in her purse and didn’t feel like going back, she changed her mind on hitting up Verdant. For a brief moment, she thought about texting one of her fun hookups, but she’d save that for later. A few drinks in, she was dancing in the middle of the club with a few guys trying to grind up on her. Brooke not giving a damn until one tried to kiss her, pushing his face away from her. “Please, you’re only good enough to dance with,” she replied before walking off, caring less on how the old Brooke was slipping in right now. Giving one of the guys a look that could kill when he tried to grab her arm and pull her back. The boy decided to be smart by removing his hand because Brooke was not in the mood and had been ready to let the guy have it.
Heading back to the bar for another drink, she slipped onto a seat, ordering herself another drink to drown her sorrows in before maybe hitting up the dance floor again. Unless she found something better to do or someone.
