Who: Johanna Mason and Open What: Relaxing after work When: Friday evening Where: The Den Warnings: TBA Status: Open/On-going
Johanna worked probably far, far too much but she kind of thrived on it. Work she wanted to be doing? That benefitted her instead of her District? Would never get old. She'd discovered over the years that she really liked actually helping people. It probably wasn't what most people who'd known her back home would've ever expected her to get into, but she lived to defy expectations.
Running an axe-throwing place? Oh, yeah, they'd have expected that. And Finnick probably wouldn't have been all that surprised by her working at a strip club.
She was glad for the hours she worked at the club -- it mostly just translated to "whenever she wanted to", unless they particularly needed her on any night. She tended to pull shifts whenever she particularly needed to clear her head, or when she wanted to just forget the stress of life for a while.
Johanna had just finished a shift and was now sitting at the bar in jeans and an oversized t-shirt, nursing a drink and watching the patrons. She'd come to recognize a lot of them over the years, townie or refugee, and it made her very aware of just how long she'd been in town. Which in turn made her very aware of how old she was.
