“You mean that day wasn’t like Christmas all over again for you? Cause it was a blast for me,” her tone dripping with sarcasm because Juliet had been a bit of a nightmare. Coffee was her morning wake up and without it that day, well it had been hell. Juliet was amused cause she could tell it had been a fun day for him like it had been for her.
The detective part of her made a face for a brief moment on the mention of someone being allowed to stab people before dropping it, remembering how bad people had been. While it wasn’t the best answer, Juliet could understand the reason. “The law enforcement side of me is like ‘no, that’s not the answer’ and the other half of me is all ‘don’t blame them, people were insane that day’.” Juliet knew she had been bad on that day, but no where near bad enough to where she’d need to worry about a stabbing.
