Lisa liked Donna. She was friendly, down-to-Earth, and definitely someone Lisa could see hanging out with more. She enjoyed meeting her at Thanksgiving and it seemed like a good start to a potential friendship.
"It's just the truth," Lisa replied with a smile. "And that is what I was afraid of." Lack of caffeine on New Year's Day was a type of torture. Madison Valley could certainly be cruel, couldn't it?
"It's pretty horrible," Lisa added. "The worst day to do it."
