Allison and Rowan
“That this place does and I know I’d love to meet the rest of them. Hopefully, they like me considering I know so far I’ve been liking the ones I know,” and she was pretty sure they liked her. “And I know if this place ever finally brings anyone from my world, I’d introduce you to most of them.” Rowan was careful on adding the word most. If it was any of the people wanting her dead, then nope, that was not happening. It was still her first thought to protect people from her trouble even when knowing the people in her life could probably hurt them without even much effort. Still, Rowan lost enough people from all the drama and she couldn’t risk anyone else. “Yeah, from what I’ve heard, none of his can classify under the bad choices category like it can with my mom.”
Rowan nodded at the comment about trying new things in the new year. “I think so. Isn’t the whole new year meant to be a fresh start? You can make a list of different things you want to try and see how many you can complete by this time next year,” it was an idea and Rowan figured Allison would probably have better luck sticking to her goals than Rowan usually did when it came to working on her issues. Though she kept trying and she was getting slightly better on some of her trauma.
A smile appeared at hearing how Allison enjoyed cooking with her cause it meant a lot to Rowan. “I’m glad because I enjoy it as well,” she replied, listening with a smirk about the slipping on her ass. Rowan still believed she had a better chance of staying up than Rowan did. Though her head turned at the offer, thinking it over for only a moment. “No, I would love that! I mean I know how to use a gun, thanks to dad, but yeah, I could definitely use some fighting moves. You never know who might show up around here,” Allison knew about Rowan’s world and knew people wanted her dead. Some that Rowan knew, some that she didn’t so it wasn’t like Rowan had to expand on those details. “And it’s not fair to the people close to me on always having to worry about protecting me.” Though she loved them all for doing it, she felt that wasn’t fair. “So yes, I would love to do that! I taught you cooking, you can teach me that.” It would be good to know just in case, especially around this place and the weird that popped up.
Laughing at Allison joking about being intimidated, “As you should.” Entering into the spot where the ice skating rink was and heading for the stand that had where they could get some ice skates.
