Allison and Rowan
At Rowan's words, Allison smiled at her ward. "I appreciate hearing it. Maybe someday you can meet the rest of my siblings. This place has a habit of surprising us with people sometimes." Obviously, Allison wouldn't get her hopes up too high, but she would like to see the others again, even Diego. "And I wish I could say the same about my dad, but his mistakes had nothing to do with bad choices."
And Rowan was right. Just because she was an adult did not mean that she couldn't partake in any of those activities she just mentioned. Maybe that would be a resolution for Allison; she could try something like that in the new year. It felt fitting. "You're right. Maybe I'll try something in the new year. It feels kind of fitting right?"
Allison was grateful to Rowan for teaching her. Before the lessons, Allison had zero idea what to do in the kitchen. Being a star, she didn't exactly have to cook for herself and she'd never quite mastered a homecooked meal in the sixties. She was pretty sure her husband just pretended to like it. Thanks to Rowan, she knew a lot more about cooking and rarely ate out anymore. "And I appreciate it. I enjoy cooking with you."
Allison shook her her head. "I doubt those made fighting skills will be enough to keep me from slipping on my ass. Speaking of which, obviously, you don't need to take me up on it, but if you want, I could always show you some of those fighting moves. You know, just as self-defense."
Allison couldn't help, but break into another smile with the glare. "And I am thoroughly intimidated," Allison teased.
