Allison and Rowan
Rowan couldn’t help but frown at hearing about their father because that had to be horrible. “His loss because he has some great children who are awesome adults. Or at least the ones I know and can speak for, but I’m sure the ones I don’t know are awesome as well.” Rowan wasn’t being some kiss ass like some may try to say cause she was honest. She may never say anything mean, knowing the impact that could have, but if she had nothing to say then she’d have stayed silent. “My mom and I had a rough time, but no matter what I knew she cared about me. Just made some bad choices,” Rowan admitted though her and her mom had worked on it from what knew during her trip home.
Walking with Allison, she listened, which also gave her an amazing gift idea for Allison besides the one she already had hidden in her room for Christmas. “Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you still can’t learn any of that stuff or even anything you may have been interested in as a kid. Never too old to do whatever you want,” she couldn’t help but smile as she said that, making her think of a friend from home and it made her miss the girl. “The joy of this town is there are plenty of ways to learn the various activities that you might be interested in.” Considering she had looked into some possible classes for self-defense just in case, but there were other stuff around this place.
“I’ve been having a blast on teaching you! It’s nice to have someone in the kitchen cause I was usually cooking so dad had food before work or when he got home from the overnight shift,” not that she minded. Just it was nice to have someone beside her and able to talk to someone while they were doing it. Laughing, she shook her head as the ice skating place came into view. “Doubt that! With your fighting training, it will probably somehow come in handy with all of this.” Rowan had no idea if that was true or not, but whatever.
"For now you're safe and do not need to find another place. But you've been warned about those bad jokes," she faked a glare at Allison as if she meant business and was giving some final warning. Laughing and breaking the glare look that she had been giving the woman.
