"Scared is one thing and perfectly reasonable considering what’s going on, but glad to hear they seem fine," the most important part was knowing they hadn’t been harmed when trying to get out of this mess. It made her glad that Dick and she came this way, because she did not need to think about what could’ve happened to that family.
Barbara didn’t even fully wait for him to agree as she set her batons on her lap where she could get them quickly if needed, and started to move. "Then head on up. I’ll wait until you’re ready," she promised as she rolled to where she was in front of the store but did not make any movements or say anything until he was ready. Once he seemed ready, she banged one of her batons on the side of a car to get their attention. "Hey, look at me here all ready," she called out, backing up slowly as they seemed to have turned their attention on her, leaving whatever had previously occupied their attention alone. She kept herself moving back slowly since they seemed to be matching her pace as she slowly drew them out of the store.
