Admittedly, Chloe found herself keeping a distance from Lucifer ever since he arrived. It wasn't something she actually wanted, but the fear of losing him was getting to be too much, and it was easier to live without him than to live with that fear. At least, so she thought. She had kept in touch with him, of course, but hadn't been overly needy. It had been a while since she'd last seen him and when he invited her for dinner, she had been more than happy to say yes.
Since they weren't going out, she had dressed casually. In a knee-length red dress and black heels, her hair down in waves over her shoulders. She knocked at his door and waited for him to answer. A few minutes had passed before he answered and she was starting to get a little worried. Just as she had been about to pull out her phone, the door opened and she looked up at him with a smile.
"It's fine, Lucifer. It happens, I'm not bothered." Chloe greeted him with a smile and stepped forward to press a kiss to his lips. "I guess it was a good book?"
