Who: Oliver Queen & Kate Bishop
Where: Madison Valley Tea House
When: Lunchtime on Sunday
What: A Date?
Status: Ongoing and Closed
Warnings: None for now
Oliver still wasn't sure just how this had happened, but he was actually kind of glad that it had. Yes he missed Felicity, but he knew from experience that if he spent his time here moping he wasn't going to get anywhere. And she had a right to move on with her life back home...after all she thought him to be dead. How could he ask her to just stop living her life? And he knew that she wouldn't want him to do that either if she knew he were alive and trapped somewhere like this. That didn't mean he was about to jump in bed with some random woman, but a date he could handle. After all he was going to get know this young woman and hope for the best. Perhaps it would lead to more sometime in the future or perhaps the two of them would become best friends. Only time would tell, because Oliver wasn't about to hide away from the world. When he had suggested the Tea House for their meeting he hadn't known it would be a date, but he still wanted to dress a little nicer for the occasion. After all it was a date now, and he shouldn't show up in just jeans and a tshirt. That wouldn't be right. So, he had found himself something better to wear. Once he was dressed he left his little apartment and made his way over to the Tea Shop. The walk wasn't bad and he actually found it pleasantly distracting for what he was about to do. It keep him from going over 'what ifs' in his head. What if she wound up not liking him? What if he offended her? No...he cut those negative thoughts of as he walked, wanting to make a good impression on her. He had been in such a rush to make sure he wasn't late that he wound up arriving a full hour early. So, he made his way over to one of the booths and took a seat. He ordered himself a up of calming herbal tea and waited for her to arrive. |
