Bobby had decided to just not fight things with May. He had already given in once before, so he knew that there was no point in trying any longer. Maybe the two of them could just take things slow, and if she wasn't okay with that then maybe it just wasn't meant to be. For now though he was going to try, so he had sent her a message asking if she would be willing to spend the evening with him and much to his surprise she had said yes once again. At first he had thought she was just being nice, but if that had been the case why agree at all? She could have turned him down nicely and accomplished the same thing. So, for once he found himself being optimistic about things. He had asked her out for coffee and then back to his place for dinner, because he had never really been much into public outings. Something about big crowds had always been a bit of a problem for him. So, he was thankful she was okay with something simple and besides this would give him the chance to cook for her. Hopefully she would like what he had planned for the two of them. He had rented an old movie and he had the homemade chilli cooking in the crockpot. All he would have to do when they got back from their trip to coffee shop was put the fries in the oven. Sure Chilli Cheese fries wasn't anything fancy, but his were pretty special and he was sure she would like them. He had also made homemade brownies so that they would have something sweet to eat. Since this wasn't as fancy as their first outing he was wearing his usual jeans, flannel and baseball hat when he made his way into the coffee shop about ten minutes before their agreed upon time. He had always tried to be early, so it had made sense for him to show up now. He made his way over to a table to wait on her to arrive. |
