Leo wasn't exactly the best at organizing things like a party, but he had celebrated a few Día de Los Muertos in Madison and he wanted to keep it going now. It wasn't overly extravagant, but there was a lot of Authentic Mexican food including pan de muerto and sugar skulls. There was a station where you could create your own skull either to eat or decorate to remember a loved one. There is a large altar (ofrendas) that has flowers an candles and people were invited to put photographs of their loved ones here who had departed. It is truly a celebration to remember those who have left us.
