Nora Valkyrie and Loki Laufeyson
Nora offered Loki the rest of the champagne that she happened to have in her glass. She knew if she tried to down it, like he had, she'd start feeling it on the way home. She didn't want to even get the slightest bit tipsy. She wanted to remember the evening.
She smiled a bit at Loki when he draped his jacket over her shoulders. She appreciated the gesture, and she knew it would be a bit chilly on their walk home. The jacket smelled of Loki as well, which was comforting.
As they started toward her apartment, she decided to let Loki know exactly what to expect from Madison Valley.
"Sometimes children appear. Like, potential future children. Say you and I decided to enter into a relationship -- one beyond friendship -- a child might appear that is our biological child."
She considered what else to tell him. "Sometimes people forget who they are, or who they're supposed to be with. There are portals to various places. A lot of weird things happen here."
