Who: Liz and Peter Parker What: On the walk home from a first date (dinner + movies) When: Friday Where: Streets Rating: low
To say Liz was nervous going into the date was probably an understatement. She liked Peter, but she hadn't gone on a date in almost two years unless you counted the speed dating and Liz didn't think she did. Thankfully her friends had calmed her down enough that she went into this hoping to just have a good time. She wore dark denim jeans and a simple t-shirt with a jean jacket to guard her from the cool night after the movie let out.
And it turned out to be a good night. They had dinner at Hinkles and then watched Zombieland. She had no idea what it was about, but Peter had assured her it was more comedy than horror and the truth was that Liz wanted to show Peter she was willing to experience things she had no experience with even if some of the other showings at the theater were from before or during her time. The movie had been good and it took away some of the worry of carrying a conversation for several hours, not that she would have minded talking to Peter.
They were walking toward the park where her home was now and she hugged herself as it was a little colder than she anticipated. "The movie was really fun. I was surprised to see Bill Murray." Bill Murray who was far older than she remembered seeing him, though it was also nice to see. She also knew Woody Harrelson who was, again, much older than he had been on Cheers. "You said you watched it before?"
