Bobby was starting to settle in, and he was even having thoughts of making a long term life for himself here. He knew that would involve some work on his part, but he had never been the type to shy away from hard work. But today wasn't the day for that work to start and he decided he would go out and have himself a little treat. After all this wasn't something he ever got to do much back home. He was wearing his usual attire, because he certainly wasn't concerned with impressing anyone. All he knew was that he wanted some ice cream and to just allow himself to enjoy the day. When he finally made his way into the creamery he looked around, first making sure of all of the exits and then finding a seating option for when he had his ice cream. Some habits died hard, apparently. He made his way up to the counter, placed his order and then headed over to the table he had spotted before with his ice cream in hand. This was already shaping up to be a good day for him, and he was grateful for that. He slid into the booth, and began to eat the treat in front of him. At least he was going for something like this instead of booze. That did show some level of progress. Perhaps he could finally get himself completely straightened out in this place. Or at least that was the hope. He was right in the middle of his ice cream when he heard the bell on the door chime, so he looked up to see who might be joining him today. He spotted someone walk in and they looked familiar to him, but he couldn't be sure from this distance. So, for now he kept to his seat and decided to not engage the new comer just yet. |
